Cheap International Voip Calls To India, Pakistan, Bangladesh From Localphone

Cheap International Voip Calls To India, Pakistan, Bangladesh From Localphone

Local phone was the winner of the cheap international call provider in the year 2008 at many VOIP blogs. The service provider had once again reduced the rates for making voip calls to various destinations across the world such as India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh.

As is known by most of the people, a number of large telecom and VOIP service providers are moving towards a standard rate of one cent per minute for making calls to India while the rates for making calls to Pakistan are still ranging between 6 and 9 cents per minute. Although betamax services such as actiovoip, smartvoip, and jumblo are offering one of the cheapest calling rates for making calls to most of the Asian countries, these providers cannot be relied upon when it comes to the money part.

On the other hand, VOIP service providers such as Localphone continuously focus on providing quality service to the customers. If you do not believe it, you can take my words for it. I personally use the Localphone to make international calls. The VOIP blog has contributes a lot in improving the services of Localphone, in one way or the other. All comments that are posted on this blog are read by the employees of Localphone so that they are able to respond to the customer reactions by offering new features and offers.

The company offers its customers the local access numbers in various countries. Along with this, it also offers great VOIP services that can be used from anywhere across the globe. To be able to use their services, you just need to download their Localphone VOIP softphone. Alternately, you can also configure Localphone SIP settings on X-lite or your VOIP adapter.

Localphone has cut down the calling rates for the following countries. These are effective from 12:00 GMT (noon) on Monday 13th July. Localphone has slashes calling rates for the following countries. Calls to Bangladesh now cost 3.5¢ /min, calls to India are available at 2.5¢ /min, calls to Malaysia can be made at 1.4¢ /min, while the calls to New Zealand can be made at 16.0¢ /min. The calls to New Zeealnd are only available for mobile numbers. The call rates for Pakistan are available at 7.9¢ /min, to South African Mobiles at 10.9¢ /min, and calls to Thailand are available at 1.0¢ /min.

You can invite your friends to this network and can earn free calling minutes too.

If you are not using the services provided by one of the cheapest VOIP service provider LocalPhone, you are missing something.

Free Voip Phone, Voip Phone Service, Voip PBX From Sipgate

Free Voip Phone, Voip Phone Service, Voip PBX From Sipgate

After the launch of Google Voice in the market, another VOIP service provider by the name of SIPGate has also rolled out a new VOIP phone service. The two simultaneous launches may hurt the business model of the Skype. The following article tries to find out what SIPGate has to offer.
The SIPGate has launched the new VOIP Phone service with the brand name called SIPGate One. All a person needs to use this service is a broadband service and normal phone handset. There are no monthly charges, no set up fees and no monthly minimum charges associated with this new service. In fact SIPGate has much more to offer to the customers. Now, the Google Voice and Skype will really feel the need to rethink their business model. I am of the strong belief that Google Voice will come out with a new service that is very similar to SIPGate in next few days.

Some of the important features of SIPGate One Phone service are listed below.
The SIPGate One offers a free USA Number. In other words, SIPGate will offer One universal number for all your phones. The service is similar to the one provided by the Google Voice. The user gets a real geographic phone number. The number can be called from any phone worldwide and there are no charges for receiving calls on this number. Another feature is free fax and voicemail. A user can send Fax and receive voicemails without any charges. The services is offered free of cost. SIPGate has truly revolutionized the way a user would send a fax with easy to use templates and WYSIWYG interface. Fax service provided by SIPGate One requires an additional phone number at $2.50 per month as a phone number cannot double for calls and faxes. Voicemail feature that aloow users to forward their calls to voicemail with the online interface are included in the free SIPGate account.

The SIPGate One works on real phones. A user can now do away with the costly VOIP Phones. The SIPGate allows you to manage all your phones – be it your home phones, work phones, or mobile phones. A user can now set up all the different phones on the same account. All phones of the user will ring at the same time just like good old grandcentral and Google Voice. The heart and Brain of SIPGate One service is the communication Centre. This sleek web interface provided by the SIPGate One blows the user away with some great features. Google Voice can expect some real competition from this player.

A user can sign up for free and receive 200 free minutes during the first month of service. The user can record complete or parts of the calls. A user can morph the call ID. In other words, if the user calls from a mobile phone and the office phone is set as Caller ID, the service will that Caller ID to the caller. A user cannot, however make free calls using the SIPGate. A user is required to pay1.9ct per minute to make Calls to the U.S. and Canada.

The list of benefits is never ending as SIPGate offers Call Forwarding, Call Waiting, Transfer, Three-Way Calling and more. If you are unable to get a Google Voice., do not lose hope. Instead try registering for SIPGate.

Wifi Voip, Wimax Voip, Voip Over Wimax, Voip Over Wifi

Wifi Voip, Wimax Voip, Voip Over Wimax, Voip Over Wifi

The cities like San Francisco and are Philadelphia are investing in large-scale wireless networks to potentially blanket the cities and provide free wireless Internet access to all residents and visitors. The facilities will allow the visitors and the residents to surf the Internet from implausible locations such as parks, the bus, or even the beach.

The facility that makes it possible is technology of WiFi. WiFi is primarily used to create a Local Area Network or LAN that enables users within the network to connect wirelessly. The commonest use of Wi-Fi is primarily in Internet connectivity, but the technology is also used for closed-circuit business networking along with connecting consumer electronics, such as TVs and DVD players. The facility of WiFi allows Internet connectivity within a home or business at affordable rates and in an easy manner. Not only this, it also allows various commercial and service venues to provide wireless access to customers and the greater public. The access is however provided within a relatively small service area.

While the WiFi technology has proved to be largely successful in providing cheap wireless Internet service within close proximity to the WiFi access point, a new technology, WiMax, has also marked its presence in the market. The new technology could be used to expand the potential of wireless penetration and connection quality. Due to the similarity in the names of the two technologies, people often assume that WiMax is simply a more refined and more powerful form of WiFi. It is assumed to render WiFi irrelevant in the near future. This is partly true in the sense that WiMax provides wireless reception over significantly greater distances, and at higher broadband levels. On the other hand, the technology behind WiMax is significantly different from WiFi, as well as more costly. Most analysts agree to the fact that WiFi will continue to be the standard in the near future.

WiFi came to existence in Norway in 1991. It was originally designed for commercial cash register systems. It has grown so much that today it can provide wireless broadband access to any user who has wireless connectivity technology, or wireless adapter cards, within a small range. Typically, a WiFi signal can provide connectivity within a maximum range of 150 feet indoors and 300 feet outdoors.

In contrast to Wifi, WiMax serves several functions in wireless connectivity. It was largely created to provide the last-mile connectivity through broadband connection to homes as well as businesses. Instead of using fixed lines such as cable or telephone line to bring Internet access into a building, WiMax uses transmitters, such as cell-phone towers, to carry its signal. As againt the Wifi technology, WiMax technology does not require line-of-sight to the user. Therefore, it is possible for several subscribers to connect to a tower, even if it is blocked by trees or other buildings. This feature of WiMax makes it particularly useful and cost-effective for rural areas.

WiMax has a much greater range than WiFi. While engineers have stated that WiMax could have a range of up to 30 miles, field testsreports show a range radius of between four and eight miles.

WiMax also has some benefits over WiFi in terms of connection quality. When multiple users are connected to a WiFi access point, there are constant battles for connection and bandwidth. WiMax technology, however, secures each user with a constant allotment of broadband access.

WiMax is still in its infancy, and will need a significant boost in support and infrastructure before it gains any traction in the wireless market. WiFi, on the other hand, has already saturated a significant percentage of the wireless market, and it has proved both easy to use and cheap.

Lets see how this will effect on making free voip calls with Wifi or WiMax
