I personally believe that Witel already has an alternative available in the market. You need to use the old mobile VOIP software Fring or Nimbuzz to avail this facility. Just install one of these software on your mobile and you are ready to make call anywhere in the world. Another benefit of this VOIP facility is that you can switch to other VOIP service providers in case you want to make calls to other PSTN or Mobile phones in the world. Similarly, you can also port an incoming number via SIP to get incoming calls. In my opinion, Witel intended to capture the market share of the people who are completely novice about the mobile VOIP scene. But a new mobile VOIP user would shy away from the services of Witel unless the company offers outgoing calls to PSTN/Mobile at reasonable rates.

I am a Witel user and experienced technologists and I simply must disagree. First did the author even try Witel? As his post implies that Witel does not provide PSTN outgoing calls. This is farther than the truth. Witel offers calls to anywhere in the world and both Witel and Non-Witel phones. The calling plans are unrivaled and the phone has no competition in terms of price and quality. This is actually a duplicate post I have seen which makes you wonder whether the traditional phone companies are up to this.

I am a WITEL user and the service works fine! Being a new cell phone company they can improve in the following areas. ( 1 ) CUSTOMER SERVICE. Provide a human who can answer the phone and listen to the cares, and concerns of your loyal customers.( 2 ) Provide live technical help because peeople have issues that should be resolved by live tech support. Overall you provide a great service and keep up the good job.
I agree that Witel needs drastic improvements in customer service. I used to use Witel for my small business until we got fed up with it. We recently switched to a local telephone answering service and have been much happier.
