The new version of the Skype is called Skype 4.1. With this new version of Skype, you are able to share your screen with any other Skype user on Windows, Mac, or even Linux. You have the option to share your whole screen, or just a selection. The best of the option provided by Skype is that it is totally free of cost.
Other than the option of sharing, the Skype version also includes facilities to further improve upon the quality of audio as well as video calls. You can also fix the bugs and improve upon accessibility options.
In order to be able to share your screen with other users, you simply need to call a contact and while in the conversations window, click Share. If you are working on Windows, use the Share Your Screen in the IM toolbar or if you are working on Mac, click Share > Share Screen. You may choose to share your full screen or just a part of it.
